festival style

After Glasto, festival fever tends to fall a bit flat as memories of epic sets from the Pyramid Stage and co become distant. Don’t put your camping gear in the attic quite yet though festi-fans as there are still plenty more festivals to look forward to this summer and some still even have tickets up for grabs…

Boomtown Fair 10th-13th of August

Probably THE most innovative of all UK festivals, Boomtown is definitely one for all the quirky girls out there! Full to the brim of colour, lights and life, the festival is basically one massive pop-up city with plenty going on wherever you look.

The festival has a massively varied line up which features ultimate cool girl M.I.A, reggae star Ziggy Marley (son of Bob) and folk fave Frank Turner.

It’s not just about the music at Boomtown though, it’s also a theatrically-led experience which sees hundreds of actors bringing the film-like street sets to life.

Boomtown itself actually sold out for the first time this year which sadly means that there aren’t any tickets available on general sale, although registering for resale tickets might just get you in on time if you hurry.

South West Four Festival 26th & 27th of August

Inner city festivals are becoming increasingly popular as music fans shun long travelling times and trekking through endless fields, and as far as inner city festivals go they don’t come much bigger than SW4 – trust us!

London’s biggest electronic music festival takes place on Clapham Common over the Bank Holiday weekend with a huge line up that has been spread across two days. Make no mistakes this one is ALL about dance music but with the likes of Pendulum, Knife Party, Sub Focus and Tinie Tempah all on the bill, what’s not to love?!

Sadly the Saturday sold out a while back but there are still tickets available for the Sunday if you’re quick!

Creamfields 24th- 27th of August

If Ibiza took a Buzzfeed quiz to find out which UK festival it was it would definitely be Creamfields. Featuring a line-up full of massive DJ’s including Tiesto, Faithless and deadmau5, this is definitely one for the dance fans out there.

Even if you are more into other types of music there’s still more to choose from with man of the moment Stormzy also on the bill.

Taking place over the Bank Holiday weekend, this is definitely one to consider if you are still plan free…

Reading and Leeds 25th-27th of August

If you love a bit of a mosh pit and rocking out is your thing you’ll be all over Reading and Leeds.

As always the line-up this year is awesome with massive artists including Kasabian, Eminem and Muse all playing- and that’s just the headliners! With big names on stages all across the weekend, a visit to either festival is guaranteed to make your bank hols one to remember.

Even though it’s famous as a rock festival there’s still plenty of choice if you’re not into all that. We’re particularly looking forward to seeing our girl-crush band HAIM as well as dance faves Major Lazer.
